Day 01 – Arrival in Lhasa, hotel transfer and trip briefing Arrive in lhasa either by flight or by train. our office representative will greet you and drive to your hotel. You will get a view of Bramaputra river/tsangpo river ( the longest and largest river) and Lhasa river on the way to Lhasa. After checkin to your hotel your guide wil give you the trip briefing. In the evening you get free time to walk around Potala palace square for shopping. stay overnight at Lhasa.
Day 02 – Lhasa Tour ( Potala Palace, Johkang temple and Barkhor street)
After the breakfast visit Potala palace which is winter palace of Dalai Lama. Potala palace has 1000 chambers, the gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lama and meditation cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet. After lunch drive to Jokhang temple built in 7th century to promote the Buddist Religion. Visit Barkhor street around Jokhang temple. A lots of pilgrims and local will be around there. Barkhor street is a good place for shopping local tibetean souvenirs.
Day 03 – Lhasa tour (Drepung and Sera monestry)
After breakfast visit Drepung monestry (gelu monestry) built in 1416 by Jamyang Choge. In the aftenoon we will visit sera monestrybuilt in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey. The monk debate at around 3-5 in the afternoon is the main attraction of Sera monestry. Stay overnight at Lhasa.
Day 04 –Lhasa Tour (Yamdrok Lake-Shigatse)
After breakfast drive through the green farmland of Nyangchu valley, Yamdrok lakes, Karo-La glacier, Gyantse. Yamdro-Tso and Kumbum monestry in Gyantse are main attraction of the day. Yamdro-Tsolake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in coral. Khumbum monestry have 35m. high chorten(stupa)with it's white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and it's crown like golden dome. After visiting Pelkor Choede, we continue drive to Shigatse which is the second biggest city of Lhasa. Overnight in Shigatse.
Day 05 –Shigatse-Snakya-Tingri
After breakfast visit TashiLhumpo monestry, the seat of Panchen Lama and drive to Tingri. Visit Sakya monestry on the way to Tingri and drive to higgest pass (Gyatso La 5200m.) to reach Tyangri. The entrance of himalayan nature. Overnight in Tyangri.
Day 06- Tangri to Rongbuk Monestry and Everest Base Camp
After the breakfast drive to Rongpuk. Passing through wind grassland, stuning mountain view, view of 8000m high 4 mountain (Mt. Lhotse,8463m, Mt.Everest 8848m, Mt. Qowowuyag 8201m,and Mt. Makalu 8463m,) . Majestic golden view of Mt. Everest in the time of sunset. Visit Rongbuk monestry which is the higgest monestry(5000m) in the world. stay overnight at Rongbuk Guest House or local tibetean tent.
Day 07- Drive to Saga
Enjoy the sunrise view in the top of Mt. everest from Rongbuk Monestry. have a breakfast in hotel and drive to Saga via Peiku-tsi lake (4600m) Overnight at local guesthouse at Saga.
Day 08- Saga to Lake manasarovar to Darchen
After breakfast drive to Darchen. we will drive through holy lake manasarovar. Manasarovar is the holy lake for tibetean and hinduism. You can relax around the ;ake shore and experiences the nature beauty of holy lake. you can take holy shower in lake. In late afternoon we will reach darche, a small town in the foot of Mt. Kailash. Tour guid will assist guest to arrange ridding yak and porters and prepare for 3 days trekking around Mt. Kailash. Overnight at local guest house in Darchen.
Day 09-Darchen to drirapuk
After the breakfast drive 8km by an enviroment friendly bus to sarshung. where trekking staff meet guest. Start to trek from sarshung to drirapuk (4920m). stay overnight at tented guesthouse of monestry.
day 10- Trek to Zhuthulpuk
Start to trek after the breakfast. This is the hardest and tough day because we have to cross Dolma-la pass (5630m). Dolma-la pass is 726m above drirapuk. It's hard climb to reach the top after resting in the top of Dolma-la passwe will decend staricase to lhachu valley and contineous trek to zuthulpuk. Stay overnight at tent guest house belong to monestry.
Day 11- Trek to Zuthulpuk
after the breakfast satrt trek to milarepa's cave. visit temple and shrines around Milarepa's cave. Its 3 hours easy walk from Milarepa's cave to Darchen passing through valley. at the end of the valley the drive will pick you up and drive back to darchen. stay in local guest house at darchen.
Day 12- Darchen to Saga
after the breakfast drive from Darchen to saga. Stay overnight at Saga.
Day 13- Saga to Shigatse
Drive from Saga to Shigatse after the breakfast. stay overnight at Shigatse.
Day 14- Shigatse to Lhasa
Drive from Shigatse to Lhasa after breakfast. stay overnight at Lhasa
Day 15- Drop to Lhasa Airport / train station
Afte the breakfast your tour guide will transfer to the airport / train station and help you to board.
