It was a privilege (and good fortune) to have Arjun as my trekking guide on the Manaslu/Tsum Valley trek in Nepal. Arjun at all times was the epitome of professionalism. He is well informed (and also honest to a fault- he will straight up tell you that he doesn’t know if he is unsure how to answer your questions) and speaks fluent English (and a smattering of Korean and Spanish as far as I know). He was always kind, attentive and paced himself to match my much slower speed. Arjun is very conscious of keeping his clients safe at all times. He not only carried his bag but also carried my backpack during the more arduous parts of the trek. At one point, he took a nasty fall on ice ( with two backpacks on his person) and cut himself quite badly, yet he continued without a murmur after bandaging his bleeding finger. He was also super charming, fun and funny throughout. It was a pleasure having him as my guide with never a dull moment in all of 18 days. As other guests have mentioned, I too can say that I started the trek with a guide and come back with a friend to treasure. I would without a drop of hesitation recommend Arjun as a guide for anyone looking for a fabulous trekking experience in Nepal.
