MANASLU REGION

Located east of the Annapurnas, the Manaslu region is a relatively untouched area compared to the Everest and Annapurna regions. This makes an ideal off-the-beaten destination for travellers seeking a complete outdoor experience sans the commercialized lodges and overflowing number of tourists.

Treks in the Manaslu region range from 1,000 to 5,200 masl with varying degrees of difficulty. Treks usually start at either Arughat Bazaar or Gorkha Bazaar, and culminate in Besishahar. Highlights of each trek include majestic views of surrounding peaks like Baudha, Ngadi Chuli and Himalchuli. You will also pass through authentic Hindu and Tibetan-style villages along the way, making it a total fusion of adventure and culture.
